Ponsonby Physiotherapy is a registered ACC provider. ACC subsidies are available for all treatments required as a result of accident or injury. Recent legislative changes have meant that paitents are now required to make a contribution towards this treatment.
We are committed to ensuring that these changes do not affect the outcomes of our clients treatment and we will work with you to schedule treatment that remains accessible, whilst ensuring you have the tools to optimise your treatment at home.
Charges will depend on the length of appointment required to deal with the complexity of your injury. We like to allow 40 minutes for an initial consultation and treatment, and 30 minutes for follow-up treatment sessions.
ACC co-payment: $40 for initial assessment / treatment and $31 for follow-up treatments.
Private fees: $82 for initial assessment and treatment and $62 for follow-up treatments.
Off peak (between 9-11am and 2-4pm) and student rates are aslo available.

Summer Tune up
Summer is a great time to prepare the body for new activity. Use your down time to have a muscle balance assessment ($80.00) for one hour and find out which muscles are long and weak and which muscles are overactive and tight. You will get a home programme to work on and two follow up sessions at half price. This is especially useful for those venturing into marathon running.

Physiotherapist Toni Bradshaw is a New Zealand representative cyclist with skills in sports medicine and is the perfect person to help you get everything set up correctly. Initial assessment and plan $80.00, follow up session $60.
